Quantity over quality at Limor’s Steak House

There’s no doubt, the servings are pretty at Limor’s. BIG. But there’s no such thing as a free lunch, and as a result, something else has to give in order to get the size, and that something is flavour.

Warning – these aren’t good photos at all. The camera was playing up, but  figure bad photos are better than no photos. so, apologies.

We had chips, burgers and a chicken schnitzel.

The onion rings were pretty good, although they left a massive pool of oil in the bottom of the box.

The chips were also good, and nothing like as oily.

The burger was OK, but pretty flavourless, and it didn’t have onion. How can a burger not have onion? That’s un-Australian. (Buy it as an extra for $1, apparently. Good luck with that.)

The patty was well cooked – not overdone and dry, but that didn’t help it much given how bland it was.

The chicken schnitzel was BIG, but boring.

TLDR: big servings but bland bland bland.

  1. YOU SHOULD TRY LIMORS FOOD NOW! IT HAS CHANGED HANDS AND BOY WHAT A CHANGE.BLAND IS THE LAST THING YOU CAN SAY ABOUT THE FOOD AT LIMORS.ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOOK AT THE FACES OF THE PEOPLE WHO JUST WALKED OUT AFTER HAVING A MEAL AT THE RESTAURANT OR LISTEN TO THE COMMENTS MADE OVER THE PHONE FROM CUSTOMERS THAD HAD A FOOD DELIVERED TO THEM,BUT THE RIGHT THING FOR YOU TO DO IS TO PAY ANOTHER VISIT TO THE NEW LIMORS.
