Ped’s Kafé for a good solid brekkie

Ped’s pursues an interesting strategy – “Western by Day – Thai by Night”.

We wandered along to Ped’s for breakfast, so we were Western.

Apparently they’re a very good Thai restaurant, and they’re definitely a good breakfast café.

I liked my breakfast, and Cha thought hers was very good in parts, not so good in others. She did like that they had magazines that were only a couple of days old, though…

I really liked the hot chocolate, which was great. Cha agreed, and she’s the hot chocolate expert, so that’s a big tick.

Themed salt and pepper!

We both had the Big Breakfast – as usual Cha had scrambled eggs and I had poached.

It was all cooked very nicely – the poached eggs were nicely runny, the tomatoes were very tasty, and the chorizo half was a very nice touch.

Cha wasn’t a huge fan of the flavour of the scrambled eggs, but I quite liked them.

TLDR: if I lived nearby, I’d happily return.
